If you’re spicing up your summer with a festival tip then you’d probably do well to plan your recovery as well as your adventure. Nothing feels better after a weekend of late nights, dancing and cider than a bit of gentle pampering – that’s why we’ve got five steps to help ease you back into normality…
One – Have a Shower
After days of no showering, pushing through sweaty crowds and the inevitable mud bath, the first thing you’ll need to do is get into that shower. Trust us, it’ll be the best shower you have all year.
Two – Make a Smoothie
Help your body out by grabbing a healthy smoothie and getting a fresh, cold burst of fruit and veg into your belly. Your body will thank you for it and you’ll love the forgotten taste of fresh food.
Three – Get some Sleep
Your bed will be your best friend and you won’t want to leave for a good couple of hours, so lay down, slow your breathing and soak up the pure bliss of not sleeping in a bag for a bit.
Four – Upload your Photos
You’ll have taken loads of photos over the last few days, so now is the time to sort the wheat from the chaff, fiddle with Instagram filters and share your snaps with your friends.
Five – Do your Laundry
